Menteri BUMN Dahlan Iskan pada Rabu siang (16/07) hingga sore hari berada di Kampus UI Depok, menghadiri dua acara yang diselenggarakan para mahasiswa UI. Acara pertama diskusi pada forum International Leadership Development Program (ILDP) di Perpustakaan Pusat dan kedua diskusi yang diselenggarakan B.O. Economica Fakultas Ekonomi UI.

Sivitas akademika UI turut bersenang hati hari ini (11/5) karena ada saja orang baik yang mau berbagi kebahagiaan dengan UI. Adalah Iwan Irawan beserta pegiat lingkungan lainnya dari Gerakan Tanam Indonesia (GTI) didukung Ronny Lukito (pemilik B&B Inc., induk perusahaan tas merek terkenal, antara lain Export, Bodypack, dan Eiger) yang secara sukarela menyumbangkan 1.000 bibit pohon langka dan eksotis untuk ditanam di lingkungan kampus UI.

Sejak Kemarin sore (07/05) pemberitaan di media massa, banyak mengutip pernyataan Ketua DPR Marzuki Alie, sewaktu memberikan sambutan pada diskusi tokoh nasional dengan tema “Masa Depan Pendidikan Tinggi di Indonesia” yang berlangsung Senin pagi (07/05) di Ruang Seminar Terapung Perpustakaan Pusat Kampus UI Depok.

Penghargaan Bagi 250 warga UI dalam Peringati Hardiknas

Universitas Indonesia (UI) dalam memperingati Hari Pendidikan Nasional dengan melakukan upacara pengibaran bendera, dipimpin langsung Rektor UI Prof.Dr. der Soz. Gumilar Rusliwa Somantri, dihadiri segenap pimpinan UI dan fakultas serta para pegawai UI. Pada kesempatan itu juga pemerintah memberikan penghargaan kepada 250 warga UI yang telah mengabdikan dirinya bagi negara dan bangsa.

Dekan FTUI Bernazar Nyanyi

Inilah suatu peristiwa langka, Dekan Fakultas Teknik UI Prof.Dr. Ir. Bambang Sugiarto, M.Eng menyanyi dengan diiringi Band FTUI, masih dalam keadaan lengkap memakai atribut seorang dekan. Acara yang berlangsung hari Sabtu siang (21/04) di balai Sidang Kampus Depok, sehabis acara pengukuhan Guru Besar FKG UI Prof.drg. Risqa Rina Darwita, Ph.D, yang tidak lain Istri Dekan FTUI. Rupanya Prof. Bambang "kaulan nyanyi" karena suami istri sama-sama sudah menjadi guru besar.
