1. Apa itu LCS ?
Less Cash Society (LCS) adalah program kerja sama Bank Indonesia dengan Universitas Indonesia untuk memasyarakatkan uang elektronik.

2. Mengapa LCS ?
Keunggulan dari penggunaan LCS:
- LCS dapat mengurangi peredaran uang palsu.
- LCS dapat meminimalisasi biaya pencetakan uang kertas dan uang logam.
- LCS dapat mengurangi money laundering.
- LCS cepat dan praktis.

3. LCS cepat dan praktis? Apa iya? Belum ngerasainkan?
Oleh karena itu akan dilaksanakan Uji Coba LCS di kampus UI.

4. Uji Coba LCS akan dilakukan di kantin UI yaitu di kantin FISIP, kantin FKM, dan kantin Prima Rektorat.

5. Uji Coba LCS dilakukan pada kantin yang menggunakan sistem pooling cashier. Itulah sebabnya ketiga kantin tersebut dipilih.

6. Uji Coba LCS dilakukan tanggal 17 September – 4 Oktober 2013 di Kantin FISIP, kantin FKM, dan Kantin Prima Rektorat.

7. Selama Uji Coba LCS, sivitas UI wajib menggunakan uang elektronik sebagai alat pembayaran pada jam 08.00-16.00. Bagi sivitas UI yang melakukan transaksi pada waktu tersebut akan mendapatkan diskon 10% dari harga biasanya. Diskon disubsidi oleh sponsor Uji Coba LCS ini.

9. Sivitas UI hanya perlu membayar 90%, dan sisanya ditraktir panitia LCS.

10. Bagaimana mendapatkan uang elektronik tersebut?
Penukaran uang elektronik akan disediakan tidak jauh dari kasir kantin.

11. Saat Uji coba Transaksi Belanja Uang Elektronik, terdapat booth dari 6 bank yang ikut berpartisipasi dlm sosialisasi program LCS yaitu Bank Mandiri, Bank CIMB Niaga, Bank Permata, BRI, BNI & BCA. Bank tersebut akan membuka booth untuk melakukan penukaran uang elektronik. Minimum penukaran uang elektronik adalah Rp 20.000, dan sivitas UI memiliki kartu/akun dengan nilai Rp 20.000. (kartu dan pembukaan akun gratis).
