RSKGM FKG UI bekerjasama dengan PT. Unilever Indonesia mengadakan:

“Bulan Kesehatan Gigi Nasional 2013”
tanggal 7, 8, dan 9 Oktober 2013.

Dengan target 1000 pasien (selama 3 hari) yang terdiri dari Murid-murid sekolah binaan, Panti asuhan binaan, Keluarga besar karyawan FKG UI dan UI, serta Masyarakat sekitar.

Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memperluas cakupan penyampaian informasi tentang pentingnya perawatan kesehatan gigi dan mulut dengan memeriksa gigi, konsultasi, dan perawatan gigi dan mulut gratis.

Setiap pasien akan menerima fasiitas konsultasi dan satu macam perawatan gigi dan mulut :

• Satu penambalan sederhana yang tidak melibatkan perawatan syaraf gigi (menggunakan bahan tambal composit atau glass ionomer)
• Satu pencabutan tanpa komplikasi gigi sulung atau gigi tetap
• Pembersihan plak/ karang gigi
• Perawatan pencegahan gigi berlubang dengan aplikasi fluoride atau fissure sealant
