Merayakan ulang tahunnya yang ke-49, Pusat Kesehatan Mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia (PKM UI) memberikan layanan kesehatan gratis di poli umum dan poli gigi bagi warga UI pada Senin (17/2). Tak hanya itu, PKM juga menyelenggarakan pemeriksaan kadar gula gratis bagi 100 pendaftar pertama dan membagikan cenderamata kepada para pasien yang datang di hari itu.

Selain memberikan layanan kesehatan gratis, PKM mengadakan pameran foto dan promosi kesehatan di lobi PKM. Dalam acara tersebut, dipamerkan foto-foto kegiatan PKM saat memberikan layanan kesehatan, antara lain saat menjadi tim medis dalam berbagai acara yang diselenggarakan UI. Dalam pameran promosi kesehatan, warga UI dapat mengetahui berbagai informasi tentang kesehatan dan pencegahan penyakit.

Untuk menunjang kesehatan warga UI, saat ini PKM telah memiliki dua layanan utama, yaitu poli umum dan poli gigi. Selain itu, PKM memiliki beberapa layanan penunjang seperti pelayanan di ruang tindakan (emergency), radiologi dental, laboratorium, estetika medis, dan dipo obat. Dibantu oleh 9 dokter, 7 perawat, 1 apoteker, 3 asisten apoteker, dan ditunjang oleh beberapa staf administrasi dan keuangan, PKM bertekad untuk terus menyelenggarakan pelayanan kesehatan yang lebih baik bagi warga UI.
