Jumat (21/2/2014), tim UI Peduli kembali bergerak memberikan bantuan kemanusiaan. Kegiatan UI Peduli kali ini menyasar Desa Pucung, Kediri, Jawa Timur yang terkena dampak letusan Gunung Kelud pada Kamis (13/2/2014) malam. Tim berangkat ke lokasi dengan 2 bis kuning sore ini.

Kepala Subdirektorat Pengabdian Masyarakat, Dr. rer. nat. Agustino Zulys, yang sekaligus koordinator UI Peduli mengatakan, kegiatan kali ini akan berfokus pada penyaluran bantuan logistik berupa bahan makanan seperti beras dan mi instan, air bersih, obat-obatan, pakaian, selimut, dan masker. Selain itu, tim UI Peduli juga akan melakukan asesmen untuk mengetahui kondisi pascabencana dan mengetahui kebutuhan para pengungsi di lokasi tersebut. (RZK)
