Sehubungan akan datangnya hari Raya Idul Fitri 1 Syawal 1433 H tanggal 20 Agustus 2012 dan kemudian dilanjutkan cuti bersama tanggal 21 dan 22 Agustus 2012, maka pimpinan Universitas Indonesia menetapkan bahwa:
Hari: Kamis dan Jumat
Tanggal: 23 dan 24 Agustus 2012
Dinyatakan hari yang diliburkan sebagai cuti bersama UI, kecuali unit kerja yang berfungsi memberikan pelayanan umum, keamanan, atau kegiatan yang secara terjadwal tidak dimungkinkan libur agar disesuaikan pelaksanaannya.
