Dalam mengelola lahan pertanian, kesesuaian antara teknik bertani dengan ekosistem sangat perlu diperhatikan karena ekosistem memengaruhi produktivitas lahan pertanian. Inilah yang menjadi pemicu Rinda Yanti, mahasiswa Program Studi Ilmu Lingkungan Universitas Indonesia (UI), dalam melakukan penelitian untuk disertasinya yang berjudul “Pendekatan Ekosistem Wanatani Semiarid Khatulistiwa dalam Pengelolaan Pertanian Berkelanjutan”. Disertasi ini diuji dalam sidang terbuka promosi doktor, Sabtu (22/12) di Ruang Serbaguna Gd. IASTH, Kampus UI Salemba, Jakarta.
