Universitas Indonesia (UI) mengukuhkan dua guru besar pertama di 2013 pada Rabu (16/01). Dua orang tersebut adalah Prof. Dr. Muhammad Anis, M.Met. yang dikukuhkan sebagai guru besar bidang metalurgi las dan Prof. Dr. Bambang Wibawarta yang dikukuhkan sebagai guru besar bidang susastra. Upacara pengukuhan dipimpin Ketua Dewan Guru Besar UI Prof. Dr. Biran Affandi, Sp.OG(K) di Balai Sidang UI, kampus Depok.
