Direktorat Hubungan Alumni bekerja sama dengan Career Development Center Universitas Indonesia (CDC UI) menggelar sosialisasi hasil Tracer Study UI 2011, Jumat (13/4) di Ruang Sidang Pusat Administrasi UI. Hasil Tracer Study UI 2011 disosialisasikan kepada seluruh pihak yang berkaitan, termasuk pihak dari fakultas.

Tracer study sendiri adalah suatu studi penelusuran jejak alumni universitas dalam hal transisi dari dunia kuliah ke dunia kerja. Tracer study memiliki subjek penelitian yakni alumni UI program S1 baik reguler, paralel, maupun ekstensi yang telah 2 tahun lulus dari UI guna melihat kualitas output UI, sekaligus menjadi bahan evaluasi bagi UI. Studi dilakukan sejak Januari-Desember 2011 melalui pengisian survei secara online dengan target alumni UI lulusan tahun 2009.

Hasil Tracer Study UI 2011 disosialisasikan oleh Tim Peneliti Tracer Study UI 2011 yaitu Ir. Ahmad Syafiq, M.Sc., Ph.D. (Peneliti Utama Tracer Study UI 2011) dan drg. Sandra Fikawati, MPH (Peneliti Tracer Study UI 2011, Kepala CDC UI). Hasil Tracer Study 2011 antara lain menyatakan bahwa lulusan UI rata-rata memiliki masa tunggu kerja 3 bulan, ini jauh lebih cepat dari standar dari Kemendikbud yaitu 10 bulan.

Lulusan UI juga baik dalam keselarasan horizontal, yaitu keselarasan antara bidang pendidikan & bidang kerja. Sebanyak 84% lulusan UI yang menjadi responden memiliki keselarasan horizontal. Selain itu, keselarasan vertikal lulusan UI juga cukup baik. Keselarasan vertikal yaitu keselarasan antara jenjang akademik lulusan UI dengan jenjang akademik minimal yang menjadi persyaratan untuk suatu pekerjaan. Sebanyak 65% lulusan S1 UI mendapatkan pekerjaan yang sesuai dengan jenjang akademiknya. (YV)
