Siswa-siswi SMA/sederajat, khususnya yang berada di tahun ketiga, sebentar lagi akan menginjak masa di mana mereka harus menyiapkan diri ke jenjang pendidikan selanjutnya, yaitu pendidikan tinggi. Dalam menghadapi masa tersebut, mereka perlu informasi, baik mengenai program pendidikan yang tersaji di perguruan tinggi maupun mengenai hal yang harus dilakukan untuk lanjut ke pendidikan tinggi. Untuk itu, Kantor Komunikasi Universitas Indonesia (UI) bekerja sama dengan Kantor Komunikasi dari masing-masing fakultas dan program mencoba memfasilitasi hal tersebut dengan menyelenggarakan acara UI Open Days pada 16-17 Februari 2013.
