Indra Gusti Mansur berhasil menjadi doktor lulusan Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Indonesia (FK UI) setelah berhasil mempertahankan disertasinya yang berjudul "Karakterisasi IL-1RacP (Reseptor Aksesori Protein Interleukin-1) dengan Antibodi Monoklonal (Abm) AY19 yang Memberikan Sinyal Ko-Aktovasi pada Ikatan CD2 di Limfosi Dara Perifer Manusia". Disertasi tersebut diujikan dalam sidang promosi doktor pada Rabu (06/03), di Ruang Senat Akademik FK UI, Salemba.
