APEC Study Centers Consortium Conference 2013: Call for Papers
This year, Indonesia will be hosting the APEC Summit with the theme of "Resilient Asia-Pacific, Engine of Global Growth". To facilitate research discussions and identification of regional collaboration opportunities in the lead up to the summit, the APEC Study Center Consortium in Indonesia will also be hosting the annual APEC Study Centers Consortium Conference. The conference is scheduled to be held on July 26th-27th, 2013, in Jakarta.
There are three main themes in the 2013 ASCC Conference. The first is "Attaining the Bogor Goals", the first specific agenda created in 1994 which lead to trade and investment liberalization in APEC. The second specific agenda is "Sustainable Growth with Equity". Lastly, the third agenda is "Promoting Connectivity". All three issues are regarded as significant gateways to a more robust and better APEC. However, the ASCC Conference is also open for other topics than the aforementioned main themes, as long as they are important and policy-relevant with APEC issues. Therefore, the ASCCC Secretariat is cordially inviting all lecturers and researches to present their paper regarding such issues.
We will be open for abstract submissions from March 7th to April 30th, 2013. Submissions should be addressed to: ascccindonesia2013@gmail.com or can be done directly at the website. For more information, please visit the ASCCC website: www.ascccindonesia2013.org
The APEC Study Center Consortium Conference 2013 is jointly organized by Universitas Indonesia (APEC Study Centre Universitas Indonesia) and Universitas Gadjah Mada (Asia Pacific Study Centre Universitas Gadjah Mada).
