Mapala UI Half Marathon adalah sebuah acara fun charity run yang akan diadakan di Universitas Indonesia pada tanggal 12 Mei 2013 dengan jarak tempuh 21 KM dan 10 KM. Dengan tema runforiver acara ini merupakan salah satu bagian dari gerakan untuk mengkampanyekan ciliwung yang lebih baik. Dengan mengikuti kegiatan ini, setiap pelari berarti telah menyumbangkan satu bibit tanaman untuk ditanam dan dirawat (Selama 3 tahun) oleh Mapala UI sebagai salah satu bagian dari Pilot Project River Adoption, yaitu Restoration Area dengan penanaman pohon di Hulu Sungai Ciliwung.

Kegiatan ini merupakan sarana untuk memperkenalkan konsep River Adoption yang merupakan bagian dari program yang berkelanjutan dengan melibatkan banyak pihak untuk membuat Ciliwung yang lebih baik, bersih, dan memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat. Acara ini digagas oleh mapala UI dengan didukung penuh oleh Universitas Indonesia.

Mapala UI Half Marathon mengikutsertakan mahasiswa, para pencinta lingkungan, pelari, masyarakat umum dengan 1000 orang target peserta, Terdiri dari dua katagori yaitu umum dan mahasiswa dengan biaya pendaftaran sebagai berikut:
(umum)
- Jarak 21 km sebesar Rp 180.000,00
- Jarak 10 km sebesar Rp 150.000,00.
(Mahasiswa dan pelajar)
- Jarak 21 Km Rp 130.000,00
- Jarak 10 KM Rp 100.000,00
Biaya sudah termasuk : Satu bibit tanaman, Racepack, T-shirt, BIB dan medali.
