Universitas Indonesia menerima kunjungan dari perwakilan [url=http://www.ucam.edu/]Catholic University of San Antonio, Murcia (UCAM)[/url], Spanyol, Selasa (17/4). Bertempat di Ruang Rapat A Gedung PAU Kampus UI Depok, rombongan dari UCAM disambut oleh Kepala Kantor Internasional UI, Junaidi S.S., M.A dan Wakil Rektor UI Bidang Penelitian, Pengembangan, dan Kerja Sama Industri UI, Sunardji, S.E., M.M.

Kunjungan tersebut antara lain bertujuan untuk membincangkan rencana kerja sama akademik. Perwakilan dari UCAM yang hadir yaitu, Jose Luis Mendoza Garcia (Direktur Komunikasi UCAM), Samuel Mendoza Garcia (Direktur Multimedia UCAM), Pablo Blesa Aleda (Wakil Rektor Bidang Hubungan Internasional dan Komunikasi, Dekan Ilmu Sosial dan Komunikasi UCAM), Gonzalo Wandosell (Dekan Fakultas Administrasi Bisnis dan Hukum UCAM), dan Elsye Yaw (Manager Pemasaran Internasional UCAM).

Kepala Kantor Internasional UI, Junaidi, M.A. menyampaikan sejumlah hal mengenai UI, seperti sejarah berdirinya UI, fasilitas-fasilitas di dalam kampus, fakultas-fakultas yang ada, riset-riset yang jadi prioritas di UI, sistem pendidikan, dan lainnya. Sementara itu, perwakilan dari UCAM juga menjelaskan tentang UCAM, antara lain bagaimana kehidupan kampus di UCAM, sistem pembelajaran, kegiatan-kegiatan mahasiswanya, dan ditampilkan pula video tentang Kota Murcia di Spanyol. Masing-masing pihak saling menjelaskan keadaan dan sistem di kampusnya agar dapat saling mengenal sebelum mengadakan kerja sama. (KHN)
