Universitas Indonesia (UI) telah melaksanakan ujian Seleksi Masuk (SIMAK) UI Program Pascasarjana semester gasal tahun ajar 2012/2013 pada Minggu (15/4). Sebanyak 4.594 orang peserta mengikuti ujian yang dilaksanakan di Kampus UI, Depok.

Ujian dimulai serentak pukul 07.30 WIB dan berakhir pukul 12.30 WIB. Lokasi ujian para peserta SIMAK UI tersebar di beberapa titik, yaitu Fakultas Teknik (FT), Fakultas Ekonomi (FE), Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik (FISIP), Fakultas Hukum (FH), dan Fakultas Ilmu Keperawatan (FIK). Pada hari ujian, UI pun ditutup untuk umum demi kenyamanan peserta ujian SIMAK UI.

Yang membuat tes SIMAK UI unik yaitu adanya beberapa peserta yang memiliki disabilitas. Ini membuktikan bahwa dengan tekad yang kuat, siapapun bisa masuk UI. UI tidak mau membatasi ruang gerak bagi mereka yang memiliki disabilitas karena UI yakin, mereka bisa berkembang dengan iklim positif di UI.

Terdapat ribuan kuota yang tersedia untuk Program Pascasarjana UI pada penerimaan tahun ini. Namun jangan khawatir apabila belum berkesempatan mengikuti ujian SIMAK UI Program Pascasarjana. Ujian SIMAK UI Pascasarjana kali ini adalah ujian gelombang pertama. Masih terdapat ujian SIMAK UI Program Pascasarjana gelombang kedua pada semester gasal tahun ajar 2012/2013 yang akan dilaksanakan pada 8 Juli 2012.
