Selain menjadi world class university, Universitas Indonesia (UI) juga memiliki visi untuk menjadi kampus yang hijau. Dalam menunjukkan keseriusannya untuk menghijaukan kampus, UI menggelar pemeringkatan kampus di seluruh dunia berdasarkan tingkat ke’hijau’annya yang disebut GreenMetric. Untuk semakin mendorong kebijakan green campus, UI juga mengadakan Workshop GreenMetric 2012 pada Kamis (31/5) di Ruang Rapat A lt. 2 Pusat Administrasi UI.
