Tuberkulosis merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan utama di Indonesia dan rifampisin merupakan salah satu tulang punggung pengobatan TB. Namun, penelitian mengenai pengaruh konsentrasi rifampisin terhadap keberhasilan pengobatan masih sangat langka. Hal inilah yang melatarbelakangi penyusunan disertasi Erlina Burhan seperti yang disampaikan dalam acara promosi doktor dalam bidang ilmu kedokteran di Ruang Senat Akademik Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Indonesia, Kamis (26/07).
