Menyusul beberapa fakultas lain yang telah menjalankan pemilihan dekan, Panitia Seleksi Calon Dekan (PSCD) Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Universitas Indonesia (FMIPA UI) resmi membuka pendaftaran calon dekan pada 20 November 2013. Untuk pengambilan dan pengembalian berkas bakal calon, panita memberikan kesempatan hingga tanggal 2 Desember 2013. Verifikasi kelengkapan administrasi dilakukan pada 3—6 Desember 2013.

Selanjutnya, panitia akan mengumumkan bakal calon yang lulus verifikasi administrasi pada 9 Desember 2013. Pada 10—13 Desember 2013, panitia membuka kesempatan bagi publik untuk memberikan masukan mengenai bakal calon. Tahapan selanjutnya adalah presentasi terbuka pada 16 Desember 2013. Tiga nama calon dekan hasil seleksi akan diumumkan dan diserahkan kepada Rektor UI pada 23 Desember 2013. (KHN)
