Rabu (03/09), Universitas Indonesia (UI) menerima kunjungan studi banding Institut Pemerintahan Dalam Negeri (IPDN) di Abdurrahman Wahid Center, Universitas Indonesia. Rombongan IPDN dipimpin oleh Wakil Rektor IPDN Prof. Dr. Sadu Wasistiono dan disambut secara langsung oleh oleh Sekretaris Universitas Indonesia, Prof. Dr. I Ketut Surajaya, M.A.

Agenda utama dari studi banding IPDN ini adalah pengalaman UI dalam integrasi perpustakaan universitas serta pelaksanaan e-learning dan distant learning (pengajaran jarak jauh). Materi-materi ini disampaikan oleh Dra. Luki Wijayanti (Kepala Perpustakaan UI), Teguh Kurnawan, M.Sc. (Program Pasca Sarjana Ilmu Administrasi, Bag. Pengembangan Program), dan Gatot F. Hertono, Ph.D. (Kepala Pelayanan dan pengembangan Sumber Daya Pembelajaran).

Prof. Sadu mengatakan kunjungan ini merupakan langkah IPDN untuk membenahi diri dan mewujudkan tata kelola kampus yang lebih profesional. Dalam pertemuan ini juga dibahas kemungkinan-kemungkinan kerja sama antara UI dan IPDN di masa mendatang, seperti dalam bidang pengajaran jarak jauh dan akses terhadap database bidang ilmu pemerintahan IPDN.
