Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Indonesia (FKG UI) menggelar acara Angkat Sumpah Dokter Gigi Baru dan Pelepasan Dokter Gigi Spesialis dan Doktor pada Sabtu (23/11) lalu. Bertempat di Balai Sidang Universitas Indonesia, acara ini mengusung tema “Fly to the Future”. Pengangkatan sumpah dan pelepasan turut dihadiri oleh Pejabat Rektor UI, Dr. Ir. Muhammad Anis, M.Met., Dekan FKG UI Prof. Bambang Irawan, drg., Ph.D., Wakil Dekan FKG UI Prof. Dr. M. Suharsini Soetopo, drg., S.U., Sp.KGA, Ketua Iluni FKG UI drg. Andi Gatot, Sp.Ort., Ketua PDGI (Persatuan Dokter Gigi Indonesia) yang diwakili oleh Bendahara Umum PDGI Dr. Yosi Kusuma Eriwati, drg., M.Si., Dewan Guru Besar FKG UI, dan Anggota Senat Akademik FKG UI.

Sebanyak 33 dokter gigi baru diambil sumpahnya di hadapan Rektor UI, Dekan UI, Wakil Dekan FKG UI, ILUNI FKG UI, PDGI, dan seluruh orang tua mahasiswa yang hadir. Selain melepas dokter gigi baru, tahun ini FKG UI juga melepas 18 dokter spesialis dan 2 doktor. FKG UI Award tahun ini diberikan kepada drg. Rizky Aditiya Irwandi sebagai lulusan terbaik dari program profesi dan drg. Atika Zairina Tambunan, Sp.Ort. sebagai lulusan terbaik dari program spesialis.

Dalam sambutannya, Dekan FKG UI berharap agar para lulusan senantiasa belajar dan berupaya meningkatkan kemampuan diri. Selain itu, ia berharap agar para lulusan mempersiapkan diri secara serius dan sebaik mungkin untuk menghadapi ujian kompetensi baik dokter gigi maupun dokter gigi spesialis. (IMS)
