Menyusul penyelenggaraan pemilihan dekan di fakultas-fakultas lainnya, Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Indonesia (FK UI) pada 24 Oktober 2013 resmi membuka kesempatan bagi masyarakat luas untuk mendaftarkan diri sebagai calon dekan FK UI periode 2013—2017. Penjaringan, pendaftaran, dan pengambilan berkas bakal calon dekan akan berlangsung hingga 31 Oktober 2013. Sementara itu, berkas mulai dapat dikembalikan pada 1—8 November 2013.

Rangkaian kegiatan pemilihan dekan selanjutnya, yaitu pada 4—7 November 2013. Di tanggal tersebut akan berlangsung pemeriksaan Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) kepada bakal calon dekan. Selanjutnya, pada 11—13 Oktober 2013, PSCD FK akan melakukan seleksi administrasi. Bakal calon dekan yang lolos seleksi administrasi akan memaparkan visi dan misinya pada presentasi terbuka yang dihadiri sivitas UI tanggal 19—20 November 2013. Kemudian, di tanggal 21—22 November, bakal calon dekan akan melakukan wawancara dengan panitia.
