Sejak penerimaan ditutup pada 10 Oktober 2013, Panitia Seleksi Calon Dekan (PSCD) Fakultas Ilmu Komputer UI menerima empat pendaftar bakal calon dekan. Keempat bakal calon tersebut adalah Prof. Heru Suhartanto, Ph.D., Mirna Adriani, Ph.D., Yudho Giri Sucahyono, Ph.D., Prof. Zainal A. Hasibuan, Ph.D.

Selanjutnya, pada Kamis, 17 Oktober 2013 dilaksanakan dialog calon dekan Fakultas Ilmu Komputer periode 2013—2017. Evaluasi terhadap presentasi dan wawancara akan dilakukan pada 18 Oktober hingga 25 Oktober 2013. Secara resmi, panita akan menyerahkan tiga nama calon dekan kepada rektor pada 4 November 2013.
