Tim UI Peduli mengirimkan bantuan logistik berupa pakaian, obat-obatan, dan makanan ke wilayah Bukit Duri, Tebet, Kamis (23/01). Pada saat tim UI Peduli diturunkan, wilayah ini masih tergenang banjir dengan kedalaman 2 meter. Pengungsi berjumlah 217 jiwa yang sebagian besar terdiri atas anak-anak, ibu hamil, dan lansia.

Sebelumnya, pada Rabu (22/01), tim UI Peduli melakukan operasi logistik di daerah Condet dan Karet Tengsin. “Namun, sepertinya untuk Karet tengsin, bantuan logistik yang diberikan belum mencukupi kebutuhan para pengungsi. Mungkin nanti kalau memungkinkan, tim UI Peduli akan kembali lagi,” ungkap Adik, perwakilan tim UI Peduli.

Selain melakukan operasi logistik, tim UI Peduli juga melakukan operasi evakuasi di daerah Binawan Cililitan pada Selasa (21/01). “Kami melakukan operasi evakuasi dengan menggunakan perahu-perahu karet yang kami punya, dan proses evakuasi ini kami lakukan dini hari karena proses evakuasi sangat bergantung pada tingkat naiknya air,“ jelas Adik.

Di daerah Binawan, tim UI Peduli juga memberikan bantuan logistik. “Walaupun sebenarnya di daerah ini kami lebih menekankan kepada operasi evakuasinya,” tambahnya. (WND)
