JAKARTA: PT XL Axiata Tbk mengincar 2.000 pelanggan solusi komputasi awan XCloud hingga tutup tahun 2012. So­lu­­si yang meluncur pada Mei la­lu itu baru meraup kurang dari 10 pe­lang­gan UKM.

Padahal, di awal pe­lun­curan, perusahaan me­nar­get­kan da­pat meraup 200 pelanggan korporat. Jumlah itu setara 10% dari total pelanggan kor­po­rat XL yang mencapai 2.000 per Mei 2012. Meski belum mendulang sukses, perusahaan berminat masuk ke pasar ritel.

General Manager Cloud and Marketing Machine Tech­no­logy PT XL Axiata Tbk Arkav Ju­liandri menuturkan perusahaan akan memasarkan solusi awan un­tuk ritel bernama Mobile-Cloud Stor­age sebelum pengujung Ok­tober 2012.

“Kami mengembangkan ekosistem awan secara terbuka dan kolaboratif. Kami lebih memilih untuk berkolaborasi karena pasar masih sangat besar buat semua pemain,” ujarnya, Kamis (11/10).

Perusahaan berencana memperkuat ekosistem solusi awan. Salah satu caranya yakni menggandeng Universitas Indonesia dan Swiss German University untuk meriset XCloud. SGU difokuskan pada bidangservice level agreement[/i] (SLA) dari teknologi komputasi awan. Sementara, UI fokus membahas teknologi keamanan dari sistem komputasi awan (cloud security).[/i] (yus)
