Pada 27-28 April 2012 telah diadakan sebuah pelatihan menulis oleh Wacana, Jurnal Ilmu Pengetahuan Budaya, di Gedung 8 FIB, Kampus UI Depok. Pelatihan penulisan ini difokuskan untuk jurnal ilmiah dalam bidang humaniora. Peserta dibimbing bagaimana untuk membuat jurnal ilmiah yang baik dan benar oleh narasumber yang pakar di bidangnya, yakni Prof. Melani Budianta Ph.D. dan Manneke Budiman S.S., M.A., Ph.D.

Jakarta dengan segala masalahnya seperti macet, banjir, kriminalitas, kesempatan kerja dan tata ruang membutuhkan pemimpin yang luar biasa untuk membenahi semua masalah ini. Siapa yang pantas memimpin Jakarta? Pertanyaan ini mungkin akan muncul bagi penduduk Jakarta yang bulan Juli nanti akan memilih Gubernur dan Wakil Gubernur DKI Jakarta.

Ajang silaturahmi dan interaksi para Bakal Calon Gubernur dan Bakal Calon Wakil Gubernur DKI Jakarta diadakan oleh alumni Ilmu Politik UI bekerja sama dengan TVOne dengan tema Jakarta Mencari Pemimpin (27/4) di Taman Melingkar Perpus Pusat UI.

Universitas Indonesia (UI) kembali kedatangan tamu penting. Pada Jumat (27/4) UI menyelenggarakan kuliah umum H.E. Li Changchun (Member of Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee - The People’s Republic of China). Kuliah umum diselenggarakan di Balai Sidang, Kampus UI Depok, dan dihadiri oleh mahasiswa UI serta tamu undangan.

Forum Diskusi Pandangan Diplomat dalam Kajian Wilayah Amerika

Program Studi Kajian Wilayah Amerika Program Pascasarjana UI mengadakan forum diskusi “Witnessing America Upclose: An Indonesia Diplomat’s Views on Important Elements Pertaining to American Studies” pada Kamis (26/4), di Gedung Rektorat UI Salemba lantai 4. Acara ini dihadiri oleh para akademisi Kajian Wilayah Amerika UI dan juga beberapa rekan dari Kementerian Luar Negeri RI.
